ISLAMABAD, Apr 09 (APP):The prices of gold decreased in the local market on Thursday, with 24 karat gold per tola falling by Rs 9,500 to settle at Rs 494,662 compared to Rs 504,162 on the previous trading day, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold declined by Rs 8,145 to Rs 424,092 from Rs 432,237, whereas 10 grams of 22 karat gold went down by Rs 7,466 to Rs 388,765 against Rs 396,231.

In the international market, the price of gold decreased by $95 to $4,723 per ounce from $4,818.

Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola decreased by Rs 300 to Rs 7,884 from Rs 8,184, while the price of 10 grams of silver also declined by Rs 257 to Rs 6,759 from Rs 7,016.

The price of silver in the international market decreased by $3.0 to $74.00 per ounce from $77.00.
