Punjab Launches Online Facility to Check Legal Status of Housing Societies

Islamabad: Citizens in Punjab can now check the legal status and approval details of housing societies online through a portal provided by the Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA).

The online service allows citizens to search for a housing society and access its available official record. Users can select the relevant authority, division, district and tehsil and enter the name of the housing society to view the available information.

The facility is particularly useful for people planning to purchase plots or other property in a housing society, as it enables prospective buyers and investors to check the society’s status before making an investment.

The PLRA portal is titled “Approved Housing Societies on HSMS” and provides an online directory for checking housing societies in Punjab.
