Iran Ambassador Reza Greets Pakistan on 79th Independence Day

Islamabad: Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan Reza Amiri Moghaddam has extended heartfelt greetings to the Government and people of Pakistan on the joyous occasion of the country’s 79th Independence Day, reaffirming Iran’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation between the two brotherly countries.

In a special message issued on the occasion of Independence Day, the Iranian ambassador conveyed, on behalf of himself, the Iranian government and people, his warm greetings to the Government and people of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, describing Pakistan as a friendly, neighbouring and brotherly country.

He paid tribute to the Pakistani nation for its remarkable resilience, unity and outstanding achievements, emphasizing that the bonds of friendship, mutual respect and cooperation between the two countries were highly valued.

Reza Amiri Moghaddam expressed the conviction that, through the firm resolve and joint efforts of the leadership of both countries, a new era had begun in Pakistan-Iran relations, opening new avenues for peace, prosperity and comprehensive cooperation across various fields in the region.

The Iranian ambassador prayed for Pakistan’s continued progress, peace, stability and prosperity and expressed hope that the enduring friendship between the two great nations would grow stronger with each passing day.

He also reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to further promoting people-to-people ties and bilateral relations for the mutual benefit of the peoples of Pakistan and Iran.
