Quaid-e-Azam Statue Unveiled at Pakistan Embassy in Washington

WASHINGTON: A statue of Pakistan’s founder, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, has been unveiled at the Embassy of Pakistan in Washington, marking a historic addition to the diplomatic mission’s premises on Pakistan’s Independence Day.

The statue was unveiled during an Independence Day ceremony at the embassy. Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, paid tribute to Quaid-e-Azam’s visionary leadership and thanked the Quaid-e-Azam Foundation of Houston for donating the statue to the embassy.

According to the Pakistani embassy, the statue has been installed in connection with the 150th birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and will remain permanently displayed on the embassy premises.

Addressing the ceremony, Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh highlighted Pakistan’s history, geographical importance and diplomatic role, and said Quaid-e-Azam’s leadership and vision remain central to the country’s national identity.

The permanent installation of the statue is being viewed as a tribute to the founder of Pakistan and a symbol of the country’s historical identity and national heritage in the United States.

Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s 150th birth anniversary will be observed on December 25, 2026.
