DPM Ishaq Dar Holds Telephone Conversation with Uzbek Foreign Minister

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar on Sunday held a telephone conversation with Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov.

According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office, the two leaders discussed matters of mutual interest, as well as the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Council of Heads of State meeting to be held in Kyrgyzstan.

The two leaders reaffirmed the importance of the close and fraternal relations between Pakistan and Uzbekistan and agreed to meet on the sidelines of the SCO Summit to further advance their shared bilateral priorities.
