LAHORE (special crosspondent) – Chairman of the Pakistan Ulema Council, Allama Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi, has underscored that the Seerat-e-Tayyaba of the Holy Prophet S.A.W.W. should not be restricted to mere discourse; rather, his noble teachings must be integrated into our practical lives. He noted that contemporary challenges such as rising intolerance, extremist ideologies, and the societal trend of rejecting opposing viewpoints can be effectively addressed by genuinely adhering to the teachings of Seerat-un-Nabi S.A.W.W. These remarks were delivered during the inaugural ceremony of a book exhibition dedicated to Seerat-un-Nabi S.A.W.W. held at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI). The event was inaugurated by Allama Tahir Ashrafi alongside LCCI President Faheem Ur Rehman Saigol. Distinguished attendees included Convener of the LCCI Standing Committee on Interfaith and Inter-Sect Relations Hafiz Asim Makhdoom, former Executive Committee member Mian Muhammad Nawaz, Council of Islamic Ideology member Rana Muhammad Shafiq Pasruri, Professor Dr. Allama Amjad Jafri, Mufti Muhammad Ahmed Anees, Syed Mahmood Ghaznavi, Qasim Ali Qasmi, Allama Qari Khalid Mahmood, Allama Arshad Ali Abidi, Salahuddin Rana, Syed Rashid Hussain Bukhari, and Syed Mumtaz Bukhari.

LCCI President Faheem Ur Rehman Saigol emphasized that the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal holds significant spiritual value due to the blessed birth of the Holy Prophet S.A.W.W. He noted that the Lahore Chamber organized this exhibition to disseminate the message of Seerat-e-Tayyaba to a broader audience. Mr. Saigol stressed that intellectual engagement with the life of the Prophet S.A.W.W. is insufficient if not mirrored by personal conduct. He asserted that true success lies in implementing these teachings across all spheres of life, including political, social, economic, and trade-related domains.
