UHS Announces Admission Schedule for Private Medical and Dental Colleges in Punjab

*Online applications for private MBBS admissions to open on October 23; first selection list due on November 18*

LAHORE: The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has announced the admission schedule for private medical and dental colleges in Punjab for the upcoming academic session. Admissions will be conducted through a centralised system in accordance with the Punjab government’s admission policy.

According to the schedule, online applications for MBBS programmes at private medical colleges will open on October 23, with November 6 set as the last date for submission. The first selection list for private MBBS admissions will be published on November 18.

For Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programmes, online applications will begin on December 18. The deadline for submitting applications has been fixed as January 1, 2027, while the first selection list for private dental colleges will be announced on January 13, 2027.

According to the available seat figures, Punjab has 4,500 MBBS seats across 34 private medical colleges. In addition, 1,100 BDS seats are available at 18 private dental colleges.

Students from all provinces of Pakistan, as well as overseas Pakistanis, will be eligible to apply for admission, subject to the applicable admission policy and eligibility criteria.

Applicants have been advised to submit their online applications within the stipulated deadlines and fulfil all requirements prescribed under the centralised admission process.
