RAWALPINDI (special crosspondent) – On 5 and 6 August 2026, security forces conducted two high-tempo intelligence-driven operations in the Washuk and Mastung districts of Balochistan, as part of the ongoing series of operations under the “Rad-ul-Fitna-3” initiative. This relentless counter-terrorism campaign is specifically aimed at eliminating foreign-backed threats, resulting in the neutralization of 12 terrorists associated with the group identified as Fitna Al Hindustan.

Details of Operations in Washuk and Mastung

On 5 August 2026, the movement of six militants was detected by security forces in the Washuk District. Following precise and skillful engagement, all six members of the hostile faction were killed. In a separate intelligence-based operation on 6 August 2026, in the Mastung District of Balochistan, another six terrorists were killed following an intense exchange of fire between the armed forces and the militants. During this operation, the security forces successfully destroyed a significant terrorist hideout, dealing a major blow to their local network, much like the strategic efforts seen in broader national security and stability initiatives.
