Pakistan Embassy in Beijing Celebrates 79th Independence Day Anniversary 2026

BEIJING (special crosspondent) – On the auspicious occasion of the 79th Independence Day anniversary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Embassy of Pakistan in Beijing held a dignified flag-hoisting ceremony at the Chancery today. Charge d’ affaires Mr. Aizaz Khan hoisted the national flag to the tune of the national anthem.
Commemorating National Resolve

Messages of felicitations from the President and the Prime Minister of Pakistan were read out during the event. These addresses paid rich tribute to the immense sacrifices made during the freedom struggle under the visionary leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The leadership emphasized the urgent need to uphold the principles of unity, perseverance, and commitment to national ideals in the collective journey toward a stronger, progressive, and prosperous Pakistan. In his official remarks, Charge d’Affaires Mr. Aizaz Khan extended warm felicitations to the Pakistani community in China. He highlighted that Pakistan and China are currently commemorating 75 years of the establishment of their diplomatic relations, a partnership deeply seeped into profound friendship and mutual trust. Mr. Khan further appreciated the constructive role of the Pakistani diaspora in contributing toward national development and effectively strengthening bilateral ties through consistent people-to-people exchanges.

The ceremony also featured an engaging photo exhibition, showcasing the various facets of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s historic life. Additionally, students from the Pakistan Embassy College Beijing delivered patriotic performances, conveying the message of steadfastness, perseverance, and hard work to the attendees.
