Syrian Foreign Minister to visit Pakistan from August 19-20

ISLAMABAD: Syrian Minister for Foreign Affairs and Expatriates H.E. Mr. Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani will undertake an official visit to Pakistan from August 19 to 20, 2026, at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar.

The Syrian Foreign Minister will be accompanied by a high-level official delegation during the visit.

During his stay, the two sides will hold detailed discussions on the entire spectrum of bilateral relations and review ways to further strengthen cooperation between Pakistan and Syria.

The discussions will cover avenues for expanding bilateral engagement in various fields, with both sides expected to exchange views on regional and international developments of mutual interest.

The visit is expected to provide an opportunity for Pakistan and Syria to further deepen their bilateral ties and explore new areas of cooperation.

The visit of the Syrian Foreign Minister marks an important step towards strengthening Pakistan-Syria relations and advancing mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
