LONDON (special crosspondent) – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar arrived in London on Monday to commence a significant official visit to the United Kingdom, scheduled to last from 24 to 28 August 2026. Upon his arrival at London Heathrow Airport, the Foreign Minister was received by the High Commissioner of Pakistan to the United Kingdom, Tipu Usman.

High-Level Diplomatic Engagements

Throughout his stay, the Deputy Prime Minister is slated to conduct a series of high-level diplomatic meetings. His itinerary includes formal discussions with UK Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband and the FCDO Minister of State for Pakistan, Stephen Doughty. Beyond bilateral talks, Senator Dar’s schedule involves strengthening multilateral ties. He is set to meet with Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, the Secretary-General of the Commonwealth.
