Belarus Military Delegation Meets Pakistan Navy Chief, Agrees to Strengthen Defence Cooperation

ISLAMABAD: A high-level delegation from the Republic of Belarus, led by Chief of the General Staff and First Deputy Defence Minister Major General Pavel Muraveiko, called on Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf at Naval Headquarters in Islamabad.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the meeting focused on matters of mutual professional interest, including bilateral defence cooperation and ways to further strengthen ties between the armed forces of the two countries.

During the meeting, Admiral Naveed Ashraf said Pakistan highly values its relationship with Belarus and is keen to build long-term, multidimensional cooperation with the country.

The visiting dignitary appreciated the Pakistan Navy’s professionalism and its commitment to promoting regional maritime security. Both sides agreed to further strengthen the existing bilateral defence relationship and expand the scope of future cooperation.
