DPM Dar, Saudi Foreign Minister discuss regional and international developments

ISLAMABAD, September 6: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan on Sunday.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two foreign ministers discussed the regional and international situation, particularly matters of mutual interest at multilateral forums.

The two leaders also reviewed progress on the understandings reached at the inaugural meeting of the Strategic Political and Defence Committee of the Makkah Defence Alliance, held in Istanbul, and discussed follow-up measures.

The foreign ministers agreed to maintain close coordination and contact in this regard.
