*Google’s AI Seekho 2026 Empowers New Generation of AI Builders in Pakistan*

*Karachi, August 3:* AI Seekho 2026, one of Pakistan’s largest artificial intelligence (AI) developer initiatives, has concluded successfully, highlighting the country’s rapidly growing demand for AI skills and innovation. Organized by Google in collaboration with the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MoITT), Telenor Pakistan and Innovista, the programme brought together thousands of developers to create AI-powered solutions using Google AI Studio and Google Antigravity.

At the national grand finale, participating teams competed for a total prize pool of Rs2.5 million, including a top prize of Rs1 million.

The initiative attracted more than 50,000 developers and AI builders, generated over 17,000 registrations and received more than 1,500 AI-powered project submissions, making it one of Pakistan’s most significant platforms for discovering and nurturing emerging AI talent.

Google said the programme reflects a major shift in Pakistan’s technology landscape, with wider access to AI tools enabling a more diverse generation of innovators to transform ideas into practical products. Participants used Google AI Studio and Google Antigravity to develop solutions combining creativity, technical expertise and real-world problem-solving.

According to the organisers, AI Seekho 2026 was designed to democratize access to advanced AI technologies, ensuring that innovation is driven by opportunity rather than background. Around 40 percent of participants were working professionals, while women accounted for 25 percent of the overall participation, reflecting the growing diversity of Pakistan’s AI ecosystem.

The competition’s top honour went to Team Struggler from DHA Suffa University, Karachi, which won Rs1 million for developing “Struggler,” a single-player AI-powered game that dynamically adjusts its difficulty based on player behaviour using Google Antigravity.

The second prize of Rs650,000 was awarded to Team Nurture, a group of product designers from Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore and Peshawar. The team developed “Hazir (At Your Service),” an AI-powered service platform that uses autonomous AI agents to connect users with service providers, manage bookings and streamline logistics in Pakistan’s informal economy.

Team Viberonix from Sahiwal secured third place and won Rs325,000 for developing “Wasila,” an intelligent marketplace that simplifies gig-worker hiring through AI-powered automated negotiations and booking management. The judges praised the team’s achievement as an example of how self-taught developers can compete with the country’s best technology talent.

Organisers said AI Seekho 2026 demonstrates the immense potential of Pakistan’s youth when provided with access to advanced AI technologies and collaborative learning opportunities. They emphasized that continued public-private partnerships will play a vital role in strengthening grassroots innovation and preparing the country’s next generation of AI builders.

To build on the programme’s success, Google and its partners will organize AI Seekho Builders Days in Islamabad and Karachi on August 8 and 9, where developers, creators and technology enthusiasts will have the opportunity to further enhance their AI skills, network with industry experts and explore Google’s latest AI tools.
