*Pakistan, Somalia Reaffirm Bilateral Cooperation*

*AMMAN, Aug. 5:* Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met Somalia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdulsalam Abdi Ali, on the sidelines of the Ministerial Meeting on Occupied Jerusalem in Amman on Wednesday.

According to the Foreign Office, the two leaders reviewed the longstanding brotherly relations between Pakistan and Somalia and discussed ways to expand cooperation in political, economic, defence, education and capacity-building sectors.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining close coordination and cooperation at multilateral forums while expressing their resolve to further strengthen bilateral ties.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on regional developments, particularly the evolving situation in the Middle East and the deteriorating situation in East Jerusalem.
