Russian Ambassador Congratulates Pakistani Nation on Independence Day

Islamabad: Russian Ambassador to Pakistan Albert P. Khorev has extended heartfelt greetings to the Pakistani people on the occasion of Independence Day, highlighting the friendly and mutually respectful relations between Pakistan and Russia.

In his congratulatory message issued on Thursday, Ambassador Khorev said that Pakistan’s Independence Day reflected the “courage, determination and strong spirit” of the Pakistani people.

He said that over the past several decades, Pakistan had pursued its own path of development, guided by the ideals and aspirations of the country’s founding fathers.

The Russian ambassador also highlighted the longstanding cooperation between Pakistan and Russia, saying that the two countries maintained close and constructive relations across various fields.

He expressed confidence that Pakistan and Russia would continue to strengthen mutual understanding and expand their partnership for the benefit of their peoples.

Khorev said Independence Day was an occasion of national pride, joy and celebration, and expressed hope that peace, stability and prosperity would continue to prevail across Pakistan.

He extended his wishes to the Pakistani people for good health, success and prosperity and concluded his message with the slogans: “Long Live Pakistan! Long Live Pakistan-Russia Friendship!”
