Vietnamese Students Win Seven Medals at International Artificial Intelligence Olympiad
HANOI: Vietnamese students have secured seven medals at the third International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI), held in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.
According to VnExpress, an eight-member Vietnamese delegation participated in the competition, with seven students winning medals. The team secured two gold, one silver and four bronze medals.
The third International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence was held in Astana from August 2 to 8, bringing together students from different countries to compete in solving artificial intelligence-related problems and practical challenges.
Vietnam’s Ministry of Education and Training said the achievement reflects the growing capabilities of Vietnamese students in artificial intelligence and other advanced technologies.
The International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence is an international competition for high school students focused on artificial intelligence. Its first edition was held in Bulgaria in 2024, while the Astana event marked the third edition of the competition.
