Over two days, participants delved into strategies for strengthening institutional frameworks, fostering mentorship programs, and establishing a sustainable national alumni network dedicated to GBV case management.

Advancements and Commitments

The second day of the conference specifically focused on concrete advancements in the institutionalization of GBV response mechanisms, the crucial role of mentorship, and the creation of a lasting national alumni network. Representatives from key organizations, including the Ministry of Human Rights, the Strengthening Participatory Organization (SPO), and UNFPA Pakistan, were in attendance. High-level speakers underscored the pervasive nature of gender-based violence in the country, citing statistics that nearly one in three ever-married women in Pakistan experiences violence.
