SHANGHAI (special crosspondent) – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a high-level meeting with the Foreign Minister of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Thongsavanh Phomvihane, on the sidelines of the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) 2026 in Shanghai this Friday.

In a statement issued via his official account on X, the Deputy Prime Minister confirmed that the discussion focused on bolstering bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and Laos across various sectors of mutual interest.
