LAHORE (special crosspondent) – President of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI), Faheem Ur Rehman Saigol, has underscored the imperative to bolster Pakistan’s digital printing, signage, and associated technology sectors. He stated that the integration of modern printing technologies is essential to cultivate new commercial opportunities, bolster industrial competitiveness, and contribute meaningfully to sustained economic growth.

Saigol delivered these remarks while serving as the Chief Guest at the 9th International Digital Printing and Signage Exhibition, known as DPS World Pakistan, which is currently being hosted by FAKT Exhibitions at the Expo Centre in Lahore. As noted by CM Punjab launches Rs16 billion Jinnah Institute of Cardiology with 250 beds, infrastructure and technology investments remain a key priority for the region’s development.

The exhibition has successfully convened approximately 150 companies from both domestic and international markets, serving as a critical platform for industry stakeholders, manufacturers, technology providers, and business professionals to showcase cutting-edge products, sophisticated machinery, and technical innovations within the printing and signage domains.

Saigol highlighted that the digital printing and signage industry holds significant growth potential within Pakistan, driven largely by the surging demand from the advertising, retail, packaging, branding, corporate, and industrial sectors. Regarding the broader economic environment often impacted by fiscal policies like those seen in Petrol price rises by Rs3, he advocated for a collaborative approach.
