ISLAMABAD (special crosspondent) – The Government of Pakistan has officially announced a significant transition in its passport issuance protocols for Pakistani nationals residing in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Effective from the upcoming cycle, all new passport applications and renewal requests processed within the UAE will be issued exclusively as e-Passports.

Modernizing Travel Documentation

According to an official notification released by the Consulate General of Pakistan in Dubai, this policy shift is designed to modernize the nation’s travel document framework.
