LAHORE (special crosspondent) – Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research Rana Tanveer Hussain stated on Saturday that exports are fundamental to strengthening the national economy, highlighting the urgent need to expand Pakistan’s export volume to ensure long-term sustainable growth. Speaking to the media at the Expo Centre, the minister emphasized that augmenting exports would simultaneously mitigate the nation’s reliance on costly imports.

Addressing the strategic importance of key industrial hubs, Rana Tanveer noted that Faisalabad remains the nation’s primary industrial engine and second-largest revenue generator. He reiterated that Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif is currently implementing business-friendly policies designed to streamline operations for the business community, foster economic activity, and provide a robust framework for enhancing export capacity.
