ISLAMABAD (Special Correspondent) – A delegation of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RCCI), headed by newly elected President Nosherwan Khalil Khan and accompanied by RCCI Patron-in-Chief and Group Leader Sohail Altaf, held a meeting with former Chief Minister of Punjab and MNA Hamza Shahbaz Sharif.

The delegation included notable figures such as Former RCCI President and Chairman REDAMCO Zahid Latif Khan, Immediate Past President Usman Shaukat, Senior Vice President Waseem Aslam, and Vice President Ikram-ur-Rehman Abbasi.

Infrastructure and Industrial Development

During the session, the participants engaged in a detailed discussion regarding matters of mutual interest, the prevailing national economic climate, and the necessity for the upgradation of civic facilities at the Rawat Industrial Estate. The delegation highlighted that improving infrastructure and enhancing road connectivity is vital to facilitate local businesses. Such improvements are deemed essential to attract new investments, promote industrialization, and ultimately generate employment opportunities that support sustainable economic growth across the region.

During the meeting, President RCCI Nosherwan Khalil Khan provided a comprehensive briefing to Hamza Shahbaz Sharif regarding the Chamber’s ongoing initiatives and activities designed to bolster the business landscape. As part of their outreach, the delegation formally extended an invitation to the former Chief Minister to visit the RCCI Chamber House.
