ISLAMABAD (special crosspondent) – Former Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Sardar Tanveer Ilyas, has formally joined the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) after parting ways with the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). Several of his close political associates, including former ministers Ali Shan Soni and Dr. Nisar Ansar Abdali, also announced their decision to join the party.

The announcement came after an important meeting between IPP President and Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan and Sardar Tanveer Ilyas in Islamabad.
