ISLAMABAD (special crosspondent) – Senior Inland Revenue Service officer Mr. Nadeem Hussain Rizvi (BS-22) officially retired from government service today, marking the conclusion of a distinguished career characterized by significant contributions to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
Farewell Ceremony at FBR Headquarters
A formal farewell ceremony was conducted during a meeting of the Board-in-Council, presided over by the Chairman of the FBR, Mr. Rashid Mahmood Langrial. During the proceedings, the Chairman lauded the meritorious service provided by Mr. Rizvi throughout his tenure, highlighting his unwavering professionalism and deep commitment to advancing the nation’s tax administration frameworks. As a gesture of appreciation, the Chairman presented a memento to the retiring officer in recognition of his dedicated work.
Career Milestones of Nadeem Hussain Rizvi
Mr. Nadeem Hussain Rizvi achieved the rank of BS-22 in 2023. Throughout his lengthy career, he occupied several pivotal leadership roles, including serving as the Chief Commissioner for the Corporate Regional Tax Office in Lahore. His administrative expertise was further utilized when he held the positions of Member (Tax Policy/TPA) and Member (Administration/HR) at the FBR. Notably, as the Director General of the Inland Revenue Service Academy (IRSA) in Lahore, he played a crucial role in the capacity building and professional development of officers within the Inland Revenue Service.
