Pakistan’s First-Ever Theme Park to Be Developed in Islamabad as MoU Signed with Saudi Investors

*Lahore:* Pakistan is set to establish its first-ever theme park in Islamabad, following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Saudi investors.

The signing ceremony was held at the historic Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on October 25, 2026, with Federal Interior Minister and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi attending as the chief guest.

The MoU was signed by Prince Mansour bin Mohammed Al Saud, Chairman of the Saudi-Pakistan Business Council, and Sohail Ashraf, Chairman of the CDA.

Under the agreement, Saudi investors will finance the development of the theme park, while the CDA will provide the required land for the project.

Addressing the ceremony, Mohsin Naqvi welcomed the Saudi delegation and congratulated Prince Mansour bin Mohammed Al Saud on the initiative. He said Islamabad’s infrastructure was being developed in line with the standards of the world’s most modern cities.

The interior minister assured Saudi investors that the government would extend all possible facilities and support to ensure the successful implementation of the project.

He described the proposed theme park as a game-changing initiative that would create new opportunities for investment and tourism in the federal capital. He also announced that a roadshow focusing on real estate investment opportunities in Saudi Arabia was planned for the coming months.

Speaking on the occasion, Prince Mansour bin Mohammed Al Saud said Pakistan, particularly Islamabad, offered excellent opportunities for investment and expressed confidence in the country’s potential.

Senior CDA officials and members of the Saudi delegation also attended the ceremony.

The project is expected to add a major entertainment and tourism attraction to Islamabad and strengthen economic and investment cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
