ISLAMABAD (special crosspondent) – Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik held a high-level meeting with Mr. Tareq Ebrahim, Vice President of Operations at the Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company (KUFPEC), to deliberate on strategic avenues for expanding bilateral energy cooperation within Pakistan’s petroleum sector.

During the proceedings, Minister Malik underscored that Kuwait remains one of Pakistan’s most steadfast allies, emphasizing the robust 50-year history of collaboration between the two nations in the energy domain. He reaffirmed the incumbent government’s unwavering dedication to further cementing this enduring partnership, noting that such alliances are vital to the Pakistan State Oil landscape and the nation’s broader industrial stability.
