RIYADH (special crosspondent) – Saudi Arabia has apprehended nearly 15,000 individuals during a comprehensive nationwide security operation aimed at enforcing residency, labour, and border security regulations, the Ministry of Interior announced. An additional 3,985 individuals were detained for breaching border security protocols, while 1,998 arrests were attributed to violations of national labour regulations.

During the seven-day period, security forces successfully intercepted 1,177 individuals attempting to enter the Kingdom illegally. Furthermore, 74 people were apprehended while attempting to depart Saudi Arabia through unauthorized routes.
