NEW YORK (special crosspondent) – US diplomats walked out of a United Nations Security Council session after France reaffirmed its decision to recognise the State of Palestine, exposing growing divisions among key Western allies over the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

French Stance on Recognition

According to reports, the walkout took place during a Security Council meeting chaired by France, where French representatives defended President Emmanuel Macron’s recent announcement that France would formally recognise Palestine at the upcoming UN General Assembly session in September.
