Kuwait Pakistan Blood Donors Association Holds 33rd Blood Donation Drive, 115 Donations Recorded

Kuwait City (3D Media), October 30, 2026: The Kuwait Pakistan Blood Donors Association (KPBD) successfully organized its 33rd blood donation drive at the Central Blood Bank in Jabriya, Kuwait, to mark International Care and Support Day. The campaign attracted more than 300 participants and resulted in 115 successful blood donations.

The event was attended by distinguished guests, including Dr. Ameera Al Hassan, a former United Nations diplomat and former representative of the UN-Habitat GCC Kuwait Mission. Prominent members of the Pakistani community and local digital media representatives also participated in the event and encouraged donors and volunteers.

KPBD President Malik Sajid Ali and members of the association welcomed the guests and highlighted the Pakistani community’s continued commitment to promoting voluntary blood donation in Kuwait.

Dr. Ameera Al Hassan and other distinguished guests appreciated KPBD’s humanitarian initiatives, acknowledging the association’s contribution to supporting patients in need of life-saving blood.

More Than a Decade of Humanitarian Service

Established in 2013, the Kuwait Pakistan Blood Donors Association has been actively promoting voluntary blood donation for more than a decade. The organization has conducted numerous blood donation campaigns, collecting thousands of units of blood to support patients across Kuwait.

In addition to its scheduled donation drives, KPBD responds to emergency requests received through social media, helping patients secure urgently needed blood donations.

Multinational Participation

More than 300 people participated in the campaign between 1:30 pm and 6:00 pm, with 115 successful blood donations recorded.

The campaign received support from donors belonging to various nationalities, including Pakistani, Arab, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan and Filipino communities. Their participation reflected a shared commitment to humanitarian service, solidarity and saving human lives.

Acknowledgement of Sponsors and Volunteers

KPBD expressed its gratitude to all blood donors, volunteers and Pakistani community organizations in Kuwait for their continued support.

The association also acknowledged the contribution of local private digital media outlets and journalists for covering the campaign and highlighting the community’s humanitarian efforts.

The event was made possible with the financial support and sponsorship of Al-Bahr Company and Al-Faisal Bakery. KPBD team member Zakir Khan also provided refreshments, juices and drinking water for participants.

At the conclusion of the campaign, KPBD President Malik Sajid Ali and the organizing committee thanked all donors, volunteers and supporting organizations for their dedication and cooperation.
