DPM Dar, Egyptian Foreign Minister discuss bilateral ties, regional and international situation
ISLAMABAD, September 6: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty on Sunday, during which they discussed bilateral relations and the regional and international situation.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two leaders exchanged views on Pakistan-Egypt bilateral relations as well as regional and international developments.
Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty also invited the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister to visit Egypt at his earliest convenience.
The two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations and agreed to continue mutual consultations and engagement on issues concerning regional security.
The two foreign ministers also agreed to meet on the sidelines of the upcoming session of the United Nations General Assembly.
